Hi RuthieK! No, all the bags I design just for fun are really easy to sew. This one in particular took me about 3 hours from start to finish. I have tried out a different way to make bags, instead of making a "bag in a bag" I sew the front together with the batting and then half the lining. Finally I put the two parts together and leave only a little "turning room" on the bottom of the bags lining. I have used embroidery thread in my normal sewing machine for the quilting on the purse - it makes the purse look a bit more exclusive. I LOVE to design my own bags!
