I used to make leotards as a home business when the kids were young and I seem to remember that the cotton lycra resisted gathering with sewn on elastic more than the nylon lycra type fabrics. I wonder if anyone else has had that experience? It would explain some of the elastic problems you encountered. 1/19/07 5:19 PM
