Your review reads like the pilot for a new TV series and your coat is perfect. Congratulations on both.

I am not certain I know what you mean by the annoying notch, because it really does look pretty good to me. However, if you are referring to the little unevenness right at the front edge at the collar seam, I am guessing it is caused by sewing the coat like a shirt, i.e. assemble the whole collar, then sew the front and front facing around it. If so, you might be able to get rid of it (on your next coat) by changing the sewing order, i.e. sew outer collar to coat body, inner collar to facings, then sew around the entire collar and CF seams in one smooth operation. But remember this - it may be bugging you but nobody else notices, they just think you look great in that stylish coat!

What's with the the green grass? That does look like a great coat. I love your description of it: a bathrobe for the outdoors. I see the notch youmention, but it certainly looks fine - no one else will notice it (I didn't until I went looking for it).

Nice looking coat and thanks for the laughs - much needed today as we dig out from a terrible snow, ice, lightening, thunder, rain, sleet and anything else you can think of storm!!

This is a beautiful coat and I'm sure Coach McHottie will notice even though you are devoted to husband. I know this because you sewed his buttons in the inside of your coat to think of him all through the day. I loved your review!

Thanks for all the comments! For those of you who want to see a picture of Coach McHottie, I don't think I can manage a decent snapshot of him incognito. I could ask him to pose for a shot beside my kid, but then I'm sure I'll raise eyebrows with the other moms. "Imagine using her child as bait!" I could just hear the cackle now... So I leave you with this: think Viggo. Yes, Viggo Mortensen.

Stylish coat. that huh, the other mommies do not have! I had a kick reading your review! Keep them coming to PR! You are a very funny lady! Your story behind the coat makes a more interesting storyline than one pulled from 'Desperate Housewives'!!!!!
