However, if you are referring to the little unevenness right at the front edge at the collar seam, I am guessing it is caused by sewing the coat like a shirt, i.e. assemble the whole collar, then sew the front and front facing around it. If so, you might be able to get rid of it (on your next coat) by changing the sewing order, i.e. sew outer collar to coat body, inner collar to facings, then sew around the entire collar and CF seams in one smooth operation. But remember this - it may be bugging you but nobody else notices, they just think you look great in that stylish coat! 3/1/07 10:47 PM
