Wouldn't have guessed the pattern drawing from your dress - particularly the hair style! :) Very nice, elegant dress that you got from this. (Stunning dressing or evening gown.)

Thanks for all your nice comments! Elona, that sounds like a wonderful idea... it could be very dramatic made with the skirt open down the front and fastening with buttons/loops at the waist. Annette, I got the idea from Balenciaga designs from the 60s; he often made the waist lower in back. I really like the Vogue styles from the 60s and they are not that hard to find on eBay, etc.

I've made this one, and would like to note that with that decolletage and done up in a light, drapy fabric, it can be a stunning dressing gown, if you don't have kids around the house.
