Thank you for your interesting and wonderfully detailed review! I'm very curious about how it looks on. I looked for the pattern on Simplicity's website but couldn't find it, is it an old pattern?

It looks pretty good even on the hanger. Distinctive, but by using the quality fabric & construction, it doesn't look costumey.
