Very interesting adptation. I would never have seen the collar problem from the pattern illustration either. Nice save.

Well, I certainly wouldn't have known you were "hiding" anything if you hadn't 'fessed up. :o) To tell you the truth, I find that I get some of my best ideas and find that it really gets the creative juices flowing (both in sewing and music) when I am dealing with my own limitations or some mistake I've made -- ha! Great vest, and thanks for the review!

I think the god actually looks very nice. (The blue is a little bold for me, but certainly matches the fabric well.) Love that egyptian theme fabric. Good style for it.
