Looks very good! I liked this in the magazine, but thought it might shift around in wearing. Now your review has me thinking about it again, especially if you feel secure enough with it for dancing!

Oh yes blue mooney, it is definitely secure! I added clear elastic to the top of the back, plus the straps are really very wide, it's not shifting at all!

Another great top! I just wish everything wasn't so low cut, looks great on you though (not so sure how it would look on me).

Seaspur, you can easily alter the deep cleavage, for this top for instance I think it's enough to shorten the straps and you're good to go! For the other Burda top, I just plan to add 1 inch all around at the neckline, just like you would add a seam allowance.

A knotted strap pattern, I've been looking for one of those! It looks really great, now I just have to figure out how to get my hands on that pattern!

Wow how nice to come in the morning and find such nice comments! Thank you all for your appreciation! Cidell, the top uses quite a lot of yardage because of the long-long straps, but if you don't have enough fabric I think you could cut the straps separately and make sure the knot covers the seam that joins the straps to the top front. Marji, if you tell me what size you are in Burda, I'd be happy to trace the top for you and send it by mail.
