Very pretty top in a very pretty fabric! The double princess seams look like they'd be really flattering on!

This is a lovely top - by some quirk of fate I missed out on this issue of BWOF :) I agree the neckline needs to be where you find it comfortable. I would find it a bit low for everyday wear, especially the back.

Why not add a 2" neckband? It's such a pretty fabric to trash. *add* Or how about hoiking up the shoulder seam, but you'll have to then re-cut the underarm shaping. (I'm full of good ideas!!)

Izzie - This is a lovely top. It sounds like a good excuse for a new lacy bra. I know what you mean though. The latest catalogue from one of our big Australian department stores included a top which had what seemed to be a piece of silk chiffon just added as an extra around the neck - maybe 3/4 inch wide. It seems to be raw edged and looks very pretty. This is similar to what Touran suggests but may be softer than a large neckband. I do like it low though.
