This is such a cool dress! I really love how you use retro patterns without getting an out-dated look. This is one of the best.

This is GORGEOUS! I love the print and it suits you so well!!! Just gorgeous :) I love the vintage pattern instructions, they're like a lesson in every packet... and so great for beginners like me. I am raiding my mum's collection (now called vintage) from the 60's through to early 80's. :) Erica.

Absolutely beautiful on you, Louella, and I'm hard pressed to decide which version I like better; one so charming, one so elegant. Only one problem: where's your '70's tune suggestion to accompany the review? (Usually, I spend the rest of the afternoon trying to get the melody/lyrics out of my brain.) Just lovely, Lily

This is beautiful on you! Are you wearing a pin at the center neckline? It's so perfect. I got such a kick out of that picture of the three of you -- it's obvious where you and Heather get your pretty faces from! Your mother is a lovely lady. You must have been the belles of the ball at that reception.

I am so loving the second version of this dress! Isn't it wonderful how a "vintage" pattern can make such a wonderful "new" dress!

I always find it interesting how you can use one pattern and let the fabric you choose do the talking. I think the flowered dress is more casual and fun and the red dress is definately for a dressier occassion. And I love them both.
