My DH actually prefers the Simplicity boxers to the Kwik Sew ones even though the contruction method is less RTW because he feels the leg openings on the KS ones are too large. I had been thinking of trying these Timberlane ones but probably shouldn't if the legs are larger. Thanks for the review!

My husband loves this pattern as well (he's an extra tall and r-t-w boxers are difficult to find). One trick I did...you probably did as well is to make them a little more r-t-w looking on the waistband by using white thread against the elastic...and fashion color on the outside. My first pair had navy thread on elastic (didn't think that through!)...and looked more home-made. Love this pattern! Yes, time-consuming on the flat-felled, but that's what make them more traditional. Your's (bf's) are very cute!
