Beautiful dress. I think its great you died the lace the color you wanted, I tend not to consider that option.

Thank you for the lovely comments! I am really happy about the dress too. ReBecca, I used a generic black dye for natural fibers (a Swedish brand). It turned out really well. I think there is a small percentage of a synthetic weft in the lace because a few strands remained cream, but that really adds a certain luster to the black lace so it was just a bonus. Now I want to dye more lace, and experiment with different colors.
