| LuceLu | 11/3/07 | Great job. I linked to the blog and left a comment. Such momentous events deserve a comment, esp. a project like making your own jeans. They seem to be such a common item of clothing but with all the pattern pieces are one of the most complicated, esp. getting the fit etc. I have to make that pattern yet for my dh. |

| nimble | 11/7/07 | Very impressive. Jeans are definitely a hard item to sew and these look great! Love the velveteen. Very helpful review - thanks! |

| suncentaurs | 2/9/08 | They look great and I think it's great your husband likes to sew. I agree with you about the waist coming up too high on some of these. I noticed the same thing with the jeans pattern I just made. So how did you change that to get the look you wanted? |

| suzette | 10/18/09 | Very Great review, Thanks!
This encourages me to work with my son more, who really wants to learn to sew. I found a fantastic old sewing machine (Singer) for him that can handle jeans and thicker things and have spent the past months collecting the right gadgets and stuff (manuals, needles, attachments) so he can use all the features of the machine. Now, onto sewing!!! I think I'll give a Kwik Sew men's pants pattern a try. Sounds like a great learning tool, especially for the zipper. Again, Great review!
