I've done the long poncho from same pattern in pigeon egg blue fleece. It took me less than two hours to cut and sew and I wear it every morning to drive the kids to the station. I think the longest version of the poncho was a good choice--like wearing a fashionable blanket at 6 am. After a workout, the funnel neck even covers my wet hair between pool and car!
