This is adorable (both the outfit and your daughter). I'm about to start some serious baby sewing for a new neice/nephew who is on the way. Question: what kind of knit fabric do you find works best?

very cute little outfit !!! kwiksew for toddler is an amazing also !!! i thought i would wear out both books 28 years ago sewing for my kids and now i am using the same books to sew for my grandbabies !!!

Carolyn, you'll love this book! It's so much fun. As a mom, I want to sew so many outfits for my baby, but since I'm a mom I don't have the time. So being a grandma who sews must be pretty fun! Emo, the knit fabric I used was a cotton knit that wasn't too heavy. Since babies have delicate skin, I would stay with soft cotton knits. Cotton also breathes easily which is great for babies. The Sewing For Baby book actually has a section in it about fabric recommendations. It recommends cotton for the most part, but does give other fabric ideas for when baby is older.

Your workmanship on this darling little jogging suit is spot on professional! Each and every aspect is top notch; I too would be proud of creating such a perfect little ensemble. And of course, your DD is just as precious as she can be. Very lovely, Lily
