How much do I love these pants?? The belt is awesome and I am in in awe of your faced fly. I *must* do that on my next pair. Your son is right, very cool pants.

K-A- Y Squared. Once again your clothes are amazing. I don't know how you do it. Every thing you make turns out wonderful. Very cool pair of pants indeed!

I'm with the 18yo - these are seriously wonderful pants. I love all the detailing, and the DIY "latest wide belt" looks better than anything BWOF could come up with. Gorgeous.

Great to see this pattern made. I was wondering how it would be. It really turned out as cool pants. Your son is absolutely right. And the tutorial for the belt loops is so very clear, thanks. I have seen a belt loop like that recently on a rtw jacket, and wanted to make one like that.

Fabulous capris! I've been wanting to make these ever since I got my magazine. After reading your review and seeing your version I want to sew these even more. I wish spring would hurry up.

Oh, I just LOVE these, which is good 'cause they've been in muslin stage in my sewing area for a couple of months now (just haven't worked on them lately). I couldn't find those darned zippers, either, but I just saw zipper pulls somewhere (M&J Trim?) that look cool. Would that work?

Wow- these pants look RTW (well, better even) and your tip about the belt loops is right up there with DaciaRay's jean hemming tip. Thanks so much!

Those are the coolest pants I've seen in a while -- you are quite the fashion plate wearing them. Your belt loop tip is a treasure; I can't wait to try it.

Great pair of pants! I like the length: not too short, not too long. And your idea of using the facing piece for a belt is ingenious! I WILL be stealing that idea. :o) Such a great review, as usual.

Kay, you have nailed it !! These pants look wonderful. I have the same problem with the front curve. Is it possible for you to upload a sketch or photo of the front pattern piece, please ? I am a visual learner and not quite sure how you made the front section less scooped. Thanks :)

Again, this is a great pair of pant... as coooool as the previous one with a plus in the front fit. Wonderful ! You are such a great sewer. Pants are according to me the most difficult garments to fit.

Oh boy, I think I like these even better than the first pair. The fit is PERFECT, and I love the black denim with the silver details. Another winner!

I wish I had made some pants like this for my recent trip to Europe. The zipper pockets would have been incredibly handy to have. They do look very nice and stylish on you - no wonder your son commented on them.
