I enjoyed seeing all your Khaliah Ali pattern reviews and your sewing project pictures. I have collected quite a few of the Khaliah Ali patterns as I like the youthful look of them in the plus size range. Becoming plus size has sent many of us back to the sewing machines trying hard to make something that fits. I like the $1 walmart fabric as well for the first attempt with a pattern. Plus size garments bring on lots of fitting challenges but are so worth the effort when you get the kinks worked out.

Thank you so much for reviewing this pattern. I plan on attempting this dress this week because it doesn't have set-in sleeves, so I really appreciate your views. I will cut the front and back skirt on the fold to avoid the seam just like you suggested. Thank you again!
