This is a great pattern and I've made several versions for my daughter. My chubby body looks better in a longer skirt.

Great looking skirt and loved the bias tape instead of a waistband. I need to try that. Did you create bias tape or use pre-made, and how wide?

Mine was premade. I use whatever I have on hand. In this case it was the standard singlefold.
