Very nice - I love the color and the pop of the black buttons. I also love your goal - I agree, I wouldn't have bought the pattern if I hadn't wanted to make the garment - so this is a worthy quest for the coming new year (though it may take a few years to attain it - providing no new patterns continue to find their way home with me!!) Oh, and I love your frugality - that also is one of my goals during this past year, and beyond!!

Our climate requires mostly lightweight jackets and wraps in winter. I like your jacket and was happy I was able to find this oop pattern. It is amazing what a nice coat for under $20 you got from this pattern. You did well.
