What an excellent idea! I have several leather jackets that would need these; thank you for the review and the reference to the book. Also, I would bet you could use an old pillow case with a fancy bottom.

Not your usual hanger covers! They look like the ones maybe a grandmother would give a grandchild--special touches on it.

Oh these are just FABulous! I agree with Jane S - soooooo elegant! Makes me want to get busy and make a few for myself, but they are lovely gifts too. Excellent idea, and great way to finally showcase those bits and smidgens of vintage lace and ribbons that have been lurking in my sewing basket for too long! ;o)
