I just finished a muslin of this dress and I could not agree with you more about the neckline. I am really anxious to figure out a way to fix that because I really love the design of the dress and want to make it up in several colors as an easy 'nice but a little casual' dress for my very casual office. I'm not sure HOW to do that, but it is something that definitely needs to be done.

Pretty dress, hope you can find a way to reduce the neckline. The buttons sound promising.

I'm not familiar with the way the neckline/facing goes together, but would a small pocket with a coin or washer help "drape" the neckline?

Meredith, That's an interesting idea, and I might give it a try. The biggest problem is one of real estate--there is just too much of me between the edges of the neckline opening! thanks for your comment! Jennifer
