sewing for fun said... I find KS patterns run big, and I select a size smaller than my measurements and do a significant FBA. I find the Kwik Sew book on action and swimwear terrifically helpful - it includes a bunch of great swim patterns. I sleect a size smaller than normal, do all the lenghth (above and below waist) adjustments per the book's instructions. I highly recommend it if you can find it. It is an excellent deal. The top looks great - love your fabric choices! 5/17/09 2:12 AM

This is lovely however, and I am sure your daughter will get lots of wear out of it. (I had that same issue with extra fabric under the arms on a recent top I made, and all the reading I've done seems to indicate I need to use a smaller size.) Good luck with the next version and thanks for bringing this pattern to my attention. 5/17/09 8:47 AM
