Pattern Description: Toddler Dress
Pattern Sizing:1T to 4T I made 1T
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes
Were the instructions easy to follow? Very Easy
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I loved this pattern! I loved the way the directions had you double the length of the overlay so you don't have to hem it.
Fabric Used: Soft Cotton Batiste with a sparkle overlay of organza
Pattern Alterations or any design changes you made: none but if I had to make again I would have a button back bodice with a continuous lap in the skirt, how real heirloom dresses are made.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I made this for a customer, it was one of two flower girl dresses I made, I thought it was little plain but this was how they wanted it. I think it needed some embellishment. I do recommend it.
Conclusion: I do want to note that if you make this dress: kwik sew instructions for cutting the overlay is mixed up, they have you cut the wrong size overlay for the size you are making. I emailed to let them know and they said it would be fixed with the next run of patterns printed. You can still figure it out, they have the small size with the large dimensions and the large with the small dimension and the in between sizes reversed---like I said mixed up
