I think it looks great! Very retro! I'm pretty sure one of my brothers had a pair of swimming trunks out of that very same fabric when we were kids. Surf's up! Now, where's my surfboard...?

Great job! In fact, I'm ordering this pattern from Deepika. Thanks for your encouraging review -- Will refer to it for your tips. I like a well-interfaced, substantial bag, and will probably follow your lead and use the fusible fleece on the handles, too.
