Pattern Description: Strapless swimsuit with built in shelf bra and two style variations - a two piece tankini and a monokini (one piece suit with side cut outs).
Pattern Sizing: XS - XL sizing. I made a small.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes, I think so!
Were the instructions easy to follow? Very. This would be a great pattern for someone looking to make their first suit - there's lots of tips and tricks for working with swimwear fabrics and elastic.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I really purchased this suit for the monokini style however after making a muslin, I really didn't like the strapless neckline with this style. However, I do think it works great with the tankini design. The best part - it's very easy to sew up and is put together fairly quickly!
Fabric Used: A teal polka dot swimsuit lycra for the top and a solid black for the bikini bottoms.
Pattern Alterations or any design changes you made: None, I made this style as is.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes, I plan on morphing a halter style top to the monokini pattern. Yes, definitely!
Conclusion: If you're looking for a quick and easy swimsuit pattern to sew up for a day at the beach, this one fits the bill!

I'm glad to see this review. I'm probably going to attempt a Kwik Sew swimsuit pattern this week and it's always nice to see success stories. Great job!
Thanks for reviewing! That was exactly my plans with this suit--morph the monokini to a halter or even a tank. I love the cut outs at the side, but my post baby wrinkly skin is not fit for public viewing. That's a cute bathing suit!
