Pattern Description: Misses Leggings and Capri Pants
Pattern Sizing:XS - XL
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? It looks so much like the drawing in the envelope that there is absolutely no point in posting a picture.
Were the instructions easy to follow? Super simple.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I loved that this pattern has only 1 piece, you cut it out twice at once (1 fold in the center of the fabric), and then with 3 seams it's basically done (plus elastic waist and hems). No side seams at all. Took only a few minutes to sew on my serger.
Fabric Used: Dark Blue Cotton / Lycra stretch jersey
Pattern Alterations or any design changes you made: Based on just the measurements, I should have made a size M. but now that I'm learning more about lycra knits, I did a quick look at the finished garment sizes and the amount of stretch in my fabric (70%), so instead of sewing a size M, I made a size S. It fit PERFECTLY without any changes or alterations. (Thank you Christine Jonson for teaching me about size adjustments based on the stretch of the lycra knit!)
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?Absolutely. I love it to wear under tunics or short sundresses - I am "of an age" where I don't what the world to see my undies in the wind or my veins if they get up close. Super cute and super fashionable. I'll be making this in other colors for the summer! And I'll be making the long legging version to keep me warm under my more fashioable pants in the winter.
Conclusion: A beautifully drafted pattern, fit beautifully straight out of the envelope. What a great way to get the leggings or capris you want without spending the crazy retail prices!

I wish PR was not so pro-photos. I agree photos are not always necessary--and often do not help at all....and the older photos have been mostly deleted....ugh!
