Pattern Description:
From the pattern envelope: 'Misses' vest. Pull-on skirt has elastic at waist, front and back panel seams and flounces at sides. View A is made from three different fabics.'

Pattern Sizing:
XS through to XL. I made the Large based on the waist measurement and it fit fine.

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes, it did although I was expecting it to be more fitted up the top of the skirt and then flare out below.

Were the instructions easy to follow?
Yes, very straightforward.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
Likes: There's only 3 pattern pieces and they fit together seamlessly.
Dislikes: There's a lot of flounce.

Fabric Used:
For both skirts I used Knitwit fabrics. I've only been recently introduced to Knitwit and I'd have to say I'm impressed with the quality. Both main fabrics are cotton jerseys, very high quality - they drape and sewed beautifully - and the flounces are burnout velvet mesh. If you live in Australia, jump on the website and check them out.

Pattern Alterations or any design changes you made:
None

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
I'll almost certainly sew this again in the future, for the moment two of these is enough.

Conclusion:
A great pattern, easy to sew and with pleasing results.

EleanorSews	6/15/09	This is an interesting take on the gored skirt with a flounce. Lots of possibilities for puitting it together. Good to know that the upper portion of the skirt is not as fitted as it appears from the pattern envelope.
