Pattern Description: Pullover dresses have scoop neckline and bust darts. View A has shaped cowl collar and three-quarter length sleeves. View B has armhole and neckline bands from self fabric or contrast fabric."

Pattern Sizing:1x-4x

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?yes

Were the instructions easy to follow?Very easy clear instructions.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? It was a quick easy dress. Liked everything about it.

Fabric Used: Black and White Cotton Knit from Hancock fabrics.

Pattern Alterations or any design changes you made: Used smallest neckline and did a FBA. It was still big in the neckline and was big in the shoulders. Didn't have time to muslin so will fix pattern next time I make it. I also shortened the sleeves about 6 inches and narrowed them several inches. I had problems when wearing the dress when I moved around with it getting caught above my bust. But was fine when I wasn't moving around alot. Not sure what caused this. If it's just because I'm so large busted or because the shoulders are big on me. If anyone has an answer please help me. There are more pictures on my blog showing how the dress kept catching. I also did a high round back adjustment.

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I will diffently sew this again. Plan on adusting the shoulders and neckline and make this a TNT pattern. I would recommend this pattern to any one. Love it.

Conclusion: Great pattern for begginer or anyone who wants a quick easy comfortable dress.

Heatherrique 6/16/09Very cute neckline on you! I am seeing current necklines nearly pass the shoulders. Fab looking dress, lovely drape. This dress would make a very nice TNT.

KathySews 6/16/09I love cowl necklines. This dress looks very nice.

khunter 6/16/09Don't you just love quick easy projects? Great job. I love black and white combinations.

Ruth C 6/16/09Thank you for reviewing this pattern--I've been eyeing it and now it is on my list of must sews! It is lovely on you. I think your problem with the fit is a combination of too big shoulders and too small FBA, but it is not noticable. Maybe you could wear a slippery camisole under it?

Ody 6/17/09Well, in the picture you look like you are having a ball in the dress and the dress is having fun on you. Gorgeous fabric! The dress could be slipping up bc of the shoulders, but I am wondering if you did a high rounded back adjustment of any kind. Other than that, the fit looks great and this should be your TNT after you get all the fitting issues nailed. Good review.

Renren 6/17/09Very nice, quite lovely. The wedding pictures were all really beautiful, too. I loved seeing your parents' wedding photo, your wedding photo, and now your daughter's wedding photo. You are some really beautiful people!!! And look at all those cute little bridesmaids . . . looks like you are going to be in the bridal gown business for a while to come.

nicegirl 6/17/09That looks so cute on you! I love the cowl neckline, very feminine and flattering.

CynthiaSue 6/17/09This is fabulous! Excellent review. Great print and looks perfect on you!

Sherril Miller 6/17/09You look wonderful in the dress. I think the hang up could be just that your bra and your knit aren't playing nice. I don't know if you wore a slip, but that might be the problem. Also, you probably don't need the plus sizes in KS patterns. Just upsize from the shoulders down on the regular sizing would work for you along with a FBA.

fryman 6/17/09Your dress is lovely and the neckline flattering. It is possible that you need more room across the fullest part of your bust. Its just a guess.
