I think it looks great--I was surprised when you said it didn't work for you...always tough though to struggle through a pattern.

Joanne, it looks great even if it was a pill to sew. For the next set of straps (on whatever bag) you might try putting a strip of batting in the middle and then do the topstitching. It makes a very comfy handle and doesn't need to be turned! You are on a bag-sewing frenzy -- a trip in the offing?
