| Pattern Description: Strapless Swimsuits
Pattern Sizing:XS - XL, I chose M
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes, kwik sew directions are always good to me.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?I liked everything, however, it didn't seem the side cutouts or bottom back are cut as low as they appear on the pattern envelope. I may try to cut a size S next time and see if that makes a difference.
Fabric Used: Spandex Lycra Swimsuit Fabric
Pattern Alterations or any design changes you made: I used smaller lengths of elastic than called for but other than that, nothing.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes, if I had to sew this again I would and I would recommend it to others.
Conclusion: The suit appears to provide alittle more coverage than it appears on the front of the envelope, but I'm happy about that, since my body isn't as flawless as it used to be after having 4 kids. I made sure to use swimsuit elastic, since it lays flater, and will hold up against many washings and chlorine from the pool water. I had to order the 3/4 in, since I only had the standard 3/8 in on hand because this pattern calls for both sizes. I serged the elastic onto the fabric and stitch down with a straight stretch stitch, since I don't think the zigzag looks as clean. This is a very good pattern. I think I might also try the strapless tankini as well. Back

Yeah, you're looking mighty sexy, Hot Mom! I bought this pattern and was thinking about morphing the upper area with straps from the other swimsuit pattern I'm working on. Just finished my swimsuit muslin and am going to start working on a wearable one. You've given me great motivation to get going with it. It has to be done in two weeks...
