| Pattern Description: A set of men's tee shirt patterns. Options are round neck or vee neck, short sleeve or long sleeve.
Pattern Sizing: S(34-36" chest) to XXL (50-52")
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes.
Were the instructions easy to follow? KwikSew patterns always have terrific directions.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? No dislikes. Pattern is well drafted and goes together like a dream.
Fabric Used: Cotton/lycra interlock, mid-weight.
Pattern Alterations or any design changes you made: My DH is a big guy (well, width-wise, anyway), so I used an XXL, but added to the center front to accommodate his large belly by pinning the CF at the neckline right on the designated line, but pivoting the bottom out 3". I also added 1" in length to the center front by tapering from 0" added at the side seam line to 1" extra in length at the CF fold line. This was enough to keep the tee shirt hem level when he wears it. I should have made the sleeves a bit shorter, so I will make that adjustment on the next go-round.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes, he has asked for several more shirts for the summer, and I am sure I'll make him some long-sleeved ones for the winter.
Conclusion: There are lots of reviews for this pattern, which speaks to its popularity and excellence. I am only adding my two cents' worth here because my DH is a big-bellied guy and thought it would be useful for others to know how I dealt with that. It is a quick and easy pattern and went together (mostly) on the serger in maybe 90 minutes (not counting the sleeve I put on backwards and had to rip out, sigh......).
