i think you shirt looks really nice. and thanks for the info about the seam. you're right, you never would know about it by looking at the line art. it's also nice to know about how it sits on a long torso. i hear ya sista'!

funny, from your photo I thought, "Nice Top!" I had to go back and look for the things you didn't like. Goes to show what we all put up with in RTW! I am sure a few adjustments will make this top just what you want.

Raye Ann, you are right- I have loads of tops in RTW that fit way worse than this one does. But I do like a neckline that fits well. I think the pulling was from the lack of stretch the fabric had to what the pattern specified. I think maybe the binding is pulling the top fabric to the dimensions of the binding and that is what is causing the ripples. It will be interesting when I get to making this again in a more stretch fabric to see what happens there.
