Pattern Description: V-neck knit top or dress with short or long sleeves

Pattern Sizing:Misses' sizes XS-XL I made the Large.

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?Yes

Were the instructions easy to follow?Very easy

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I liked the unique construction of this pattern. The front pattern piece is a little different than any other that I have sewn. It forms the front and lining and neckline all in one.

Fabric Used: I used a paisley printed cotton/lycra knit that I purchased from Promenade Fabrics in New Orleans.

Pattern Alterations or any design changes you made: I made this right out of the envelope with no alterations at all. A first for me!!!

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
I probably will sew this one again in a solid because I think it will make a great basic top to go under jackets. However, I don't think this is one of the tops that you could make 5 or 6 of, because of the design it will be noticed as "one you have worn before". I would recommend this to others because it is very easy and a great wardrobe builder.
Conclusion: I was very pleased with the way this top turned out. I had been having some issues today with another project (short on fabric!) and I was disgusted with sewing and wondered why do I sew? I'm glad I didn't let it get to me and started on this project. It turned out to be a great day in the sewing room after all!

This is also my first knit fabric project to be completed that I actually like and will wear. Previous tries have only been failures. I figured out from reading other posts on PR with tips on knits, that I needed to lighten the pressure on my serger presser foot. It made ALL the difference with sewing this knit. With that said, I will be pulling out more of the knits in my stash and trying a few more patterns.
