I just enjoyed a good half an hour looking over your blog. What excellent writing – which of course makes for excellent reading. Thoroughly enjoyable. I agree with you completely about the waistline thing. I haven't bothered to actually get the pattern out of the envelope to check that angle but if I make it again I will. I'm like you in that it's become easier to draft a pattern from a sloper that fits than to bother with the actual patterns ... that doesn't stop me from buyin' em though. Thanks for the comment, your intelligent input and your delightful blog and web site.

What a great blouse - and I love your sense of color! I, too, love bright colors and sometimes wonder if I'm too loud, but phooey - bland and pale are just not me. You're inspiring me to shop my stash and put together my own SWAP. I figure even if I don't get it done, so what? I'll be on my way to a new fall/winter wardrobe. By the way, I love the bright, orange and pink lady on Advanced Style. Beautiful.
