Pattern Description:
Toddlers' shirts, pants and shorts. I made a long sleeve t-shirt and the pants with patch pockets in denim. I left out the tuck in the pocket and lined the pants with a knit print for fall/winter. I also took out about 2 inches (an inch on each side) when sewing the side seams on the shirt.
Pattern Sizing:
T1-T4. I made T1.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes.
Were the instructions easy to follow?
They were.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
These go together relatively easily. I think the pants could use to be a bit wider at the ankles, but that's easily changed in the next pair. They have plenty of diaper room which is nice.
Fabric Used:
The shirt is cotton rib with a sewn on strip of interlock. The pants are stretch denim lined with cotton (maybe some poly in there too) interlock.
Pattern Alterations or any design changes you made:
I left out the tuck in the patch pockets. I thought they looked a little girly for my son. I also serged the top then folded once to make the elastic casing. This makes the rise a bit tall in my opinion. I'll take a little more off of the top of the next pair. I also took about 2 inches out of the width of the body of the shirt. I will make the next shirt a smidge longer too - maybe an inch or so?
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
