Very versitile pattern. I made two sets of shorts and one tank for the summer and a set of long sleeve monogramed pajamas for summer/fall. It worked well with 100% cotton material. The hems on the pants and shirt do fold up after washing so next time I plan to put some interfacing there just so I don't have to iron it. I like that this pattern is gender neutral so I can keep it for future children. TIP: trace the pattern onto tissue paper or wrapping paper so you can get all the sizes out of it! I never cut my original pattern until I'm on the largest size.
I am nearly done with a flannel version and have added cuffs that can be rolled up so that they will fit longer. Also I increased the button size to make it easier to dress a very fast moving toddler. |
