Do you then recommend going up a size (or two)?

Ach, I don't think going up a size is a good idea. The shoulders are a tad wide and when I had the issue before on a t-shirt pattern I've made a few times, someone suggested I fold a wedge in the back piece and cut from that. It worked like a charm! I'm going to try it with this pattern as well. Also, the torso is a little more loose than I would like.
