Pattern Description: Misses' Skirts and Top. Fitted skirts have waistband, zipper at center back, straight cut front, and extreme flare at lower edge of back panels.

Pattern Sizing:XS-XL

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?yes!
Were the instructions easy to follow?I briefly looked through them to make sure there wasn't anything unusual, then put them aside/

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I love the flare on the back of the skirt. There was nothing that I didn't like about the pattern
Fabric Used: a poly/rayon suiting from JoAnn's

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: This is a straight XL. The only change I made was to peg the hem about an inch on each side. I find this to be more flattering to my figure than a straight skirt. I like the longer length on me, but the pattern envelope shows it to be just below the knee. If you are shorter, you would need to shorten the skirt above the flare to have it the same length as the model.

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I currently want to make a dozen of these!!! I would highly recommend this skirt. It was simple to make and very flattering. I am also planning to make the top.

Conclusion: This is one of the few outfits I've made since gaining some weight where I feel good in and like the pictures of. I also think the flared back gives you the best of both worlds, a flattering pencil skirt, with ease of movement from the flared back. It clearly works with the Jalie sweetheart top and I think I just might have the foundation pieces for a SWAP.
