Pattern Description: Skort

Pattern Sizing:I made the medium size

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?Yes, very nice. Although I had to modify the waistband in the back.

Were the instructions easy to follow?Yes

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?I liked how it turned out. Friends think it looks 'store bought'. Easy to sew even for a begginer like me.

Fabric Used:I used a really cute madras plaid that was pre-sewn tog like a patchwork. Looks like I did a lot of work w/out doing a lot of work :-P

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:Just the waistband in the back. The left and right bands didn't match up straight. Since zipper was already in it hindered me from altering (being a newbie). So I hand sewed to ease in fullness from longer side and I used longer flap on the outside (pattern has it the other way) to cover the no-so-nice looking other flap. I also used a button/button hole instead of the hook and eye closure since I had a big flap for the button hole. Not perfect, but I'll probably wear shirts untucked anyway.

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?Yes, as I don't find to many skorts to purchasse in RTW
