Pattern Description: Misses zip-front jackets have side panels and pockets in front panel seams. Side panels and facings are from contrast fabric. View A has stand-up collar and View B has hood. I made View B with the hood.

Pattern Sizing:XS-XL

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?Yes

Were the instructions easy to follow?Yes, you do bounce around a little but it is worth it because they are so great!

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?I love the great instructions for the zipper and I like the hood which covers your neck also. I don't have any real dislikes.

Fabric Used:I used fleece from fabric.com. When I was looking at the snowflake fabric, they suggested the navy cotton candy fleece to match and it did for the most part.

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:I had to take 2" from the length in the sleeves which I took 1" in 2 different places, bicep area and again below the elbow. I shortened 1" from the waist. I added 2" to the back hips width because I forgot to do this and I had already cut out the front! (D'OH)! The jacket is snug around my big booty but not too bad or uncomfortable.

I sewed the front and back facings to the jacket, the instructions tell you to do the back only but that leaves the front facing flapping around so I sewed those also. I also put elastic around the bottom of the sleeves to keep the wind out and if I roll or push them up they will stay up better.

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?I'm sure I probably will. This is actually my 9th coat from Kwik Sew. My 3rd from this pattern, 3 from KS 3290, and 3 from KS 3367.

Conclusion: I'm glad I FINALLY got to make a jacket from this pattern for ME! I love KS instructions and the jacket is very comfortable! I would STRONGLY recommend using Wonder Tape for applying the zipper and for stitching the facing to the back or going all the way.
