You did a really great job on this. Did you reinforce the shoulder seams for structure? Your review is rare, in that you used stripes, which not many have been doing recently. I think you are ahead of teh fashion curve here, as the folks I get my fabircs from are starting to see them come through. Anyhoo, seeing this in stripes, inspires me to do the same for DW. Best. The stripes give this simple top something extra. I especially like the bias binding, very nice. Regarding matching at the sleeves -- I had a similar problem, but with a larger stripe, which made it easier. As I recall, I picked a few important places to match and didn't worry about the rest. (It was the first time I tried to match stripes and was amazed that it worked.)

Very lovely and good idea for matching stripes. It doesn't seem likely you could match them perfectly at the sleeve/bodice because the bodice is relatively straight across and the seelve has that curve to it and is coming in at an angle. But it looks as though they are matched. Lovely, lovely. (I like that . . . world of wrongness.)
