This looks like a great gift -- and also a great recipe. How did you do the rolls -- divide dough before second rising and bake on cookie sheet?

Yes: even if the dough is a little bit sticky, you can make the rolls before the second rising (spread flour on your hands during the shaping), place them on a cookie sheet and cover with a clean cloth during the rising. Remove the cloth before baking.
