Your vest looks terrific. The fabric is lovely and looks like something from EOS and is perfect for your vest. The alterations you made sound like the same thing I would need to do. Great job. I going to look for that Thread's article.

No wonder you got compliments. This is absolutely beautiful. It's like a work of art. I think I'm following that dart thing you did in the back. It sounds like a V shape, right, with one leg of the V coming down from each shoulder seam and meeting at CB? Beautiful fabric from EOS and your photo is very nice.

Actually, Renren, the dart runs straight across the back, from shoulder seam to shoulder seam, and sits just at the point where a collar would be sewn. (I put the jacket on my dressform and pinned out the amount that was too full and that became my dart.) I hope this helps.
