Cute sherpa jacket! How nice that you could design and sew one that fits your little guy. The snow suit will be great too.

Ottobre often has snowsuit patterns for babies. There's one in the Winter 2004 issue which also contains a sherpa pullover (easily adapted to a zipper) with a hood. I think Europeans make outerwear for their kids more often than we do here. The jacket is adorable. You got it done just in time for this crummy weather.
