VERY pretty in this vibrant shade of orange. I particularly like the back detail and also the sleeve ruffles. :o)

I love your interpretation! Very pretty! I think this is my favorite dressy top pattern. I plan on making a few more of them for myself. I also like the shirring in the back...I decided not to do that on my first top, but now that I see yours I may try it next time.

Really pretty top! It's a great top to have in the back of the wardrobe for those occassions when you need something "a little bit fancy". :)

A striking and distinctive top. I think you'll find many occasions to wear it. (Check your camera's controls to see whether it's got a self-timer. If so, try it - it makes self-photography a lot easier.)

Great review, as usual. If you ordered a bunch of packages, it would be a cute top to greet the UPS man in! I think the top looks very nice on you.

Your top looks great! I love the details on this. I thought this style might be too volumnous, but it isn't, it's very flattering on you!

Love the fabric. Love the style except for the sleeve ruffles (personal preference). Great top for that date night with hubby.

Beautiful top. I hope you get some use from it. I was interested to read that you didn't have to do an FBA. I think my top from this pattern would look better without the FBA and the rotation of the dart to the shoulder that I did, and hence the shirring. I had too much shirring. I too tacked the point of the front facing to the front seam. Thanks for all the information. I'll definitely make it again. I really liked the pattern, too.

I love this top - have not made anything from Hot Pattern yet but I think this is the one to make me start - it looks so comfy and it will be a real plus not to have a knit top that is too shapely for my mature figure - really helpful review

After Michelle's version of this top, I became interested in HP patterns. After seeing your top, I'm going to order this one today. I love dressy knit tops. Looking good and feeling comfortable works perfectly in my wardrobe. I even think I have that same fabric somewhere around here. Thanks for the review. Your top is beautiful.

Informative and funny review! (I'm delighted to hear that there are no Pattern Police, and I'm sure Trudy agrees.) Beautiful top, too. Thanks for the tips and photos, focusing on the different and intriguing features of this blouse. It looks lovely on you.
