Very pretty and perfect for Valentine's Day. I thought the only thing scary about velveteen was it's slipperiness. But it's even more complicated. You might email Simplicity about the problem. Once there was a drafting error in a Vogue Sandra Betzina pants pattern, and when I notified them (I read about it here on PR), they sent me a new, corrected pattern. You can probably contact Simplicity through their website.
