You are right about it making a great gifts. I was a big hit at the holidays. I made 7 of these and mailed them off to various family members. I love your choice of fabric.

This is such a fun bag . . . love the fabric you selected and really appreciate your comments about the excessive fabric issue . . . I may just have to break down and get this pattern and I hate buying more fabric than necessary!

I also appreciate the cutting layout suggestions. I'm going to make this during the weekend. I already bought the recommended fabric amount, but will put the extra to good use!
