Oh that's awesome! Fancy yokes like that always looked like they would be out of my reach, but using an overlay on a well-fitted shirt is a great idea! Your husband looks smashing in it!

The western shirt is wonderful. That's a great idea to use the yokes and cuff from the vintage pattern. You better hide as there are probably lots of these in your future.

Fabulous! Should be no shock he wants another... pretty soon you will be the official band tailor... wonderful scroll design on the yoke too.

Wow, what a fantastic shirt! I love the custom-designed yoke and your fitting looks perfect. I agree with Nancy Rhodes, you may regret making such a gorgeous shirt-the whole band will be lining up for them, lol! Thanks for all the pics-I love that vintage pattern, what a great inspiration!
