Dunno why he'd only wear it with the greatcoat...he looks absolutely fantastic in the front photo (the 2nd from last photo) wearing it with jeans. Looks like the perfect cool-weather men's vest. Anyways, you done good!

The waistcoat looks very classy in an understated way. Can't wait to see the greatcoat. I just have to wonder - does he have a pocketwatch and chain to wear with this finery? ;)

Good hint on trimming the interfacing. I oaften make mens clothing for women and I feel your pain with pattern adjustments.
