Worth all your hand sewing and effort, and they look properly tied to me! As far as what to do with them...put them away with a few photos (such as this one) and years from now it will be fun to find them again. Of course, I'm a packrat.

Thanks everyone. Luckily we have another two occasions for them to wear the vests. A wedding in two weeks, and best of all my brother's wedding this fall. Now, how to prevent them from growing until then....
