What a cheerful bag! I like your ideas for beefing it up and differing uses. I can't live without lots of pockets in purses--I get frustrated too easily looking for stuff in them. Great review!

I think my interior pockets that I sewed into the bottom needed to be bigger. They have a hard time containing everything since the bag sags when you set it down, so everything pops out of the pocket. Interfacing support would probably resolve some of this.
